Official In-Game Rules
The Staff team reserves the right to punish any member as they see fit throughout the entirety of Novea.
Staff discretion applies to all the rules listed below.

Advertising of other RSPS is strictly forbidden. Anyone found advertising other servers will be permanently banned on all accounts, including from the server forums and discord.
Misleading Links, Threats, DDOSing and Hacking.
Misleading Links; any links posted in-game, on our discord and on the forums will be removed and the account responsible will be permanently banned on all platforms.
Threats; Any threats made that are seen to be at the risk of someone’s life, security or reputation (including blackmail) the account responsible will be permanently banned on all platforms.
Hacking/DDOSing; the account responsible will be permanently banned on all platforms.
Spamming; Spamming in game is not permitted and the Novea staff will deal with each infringement on a case-by-case basis. Players will receive a warning but if it persists a mute will be issued for the offence
Auto-Typing; Auto-typers are permitted in-game however are not to be set below a 10-second repeat between each message.
We want to promote a fair environment where the achievement of certain milestones is regarded as a real achievement so the use of items that assist in AFK training and skilling if caught will see that the account responsible not only banned but deleted. In conjunction with this, all ALT account associated with that account will have their XP cut by half in all skills, and any accounts that have traded with the offending account will also be liable for possible XP removal or GP removal.
The use of bots/scripts/ghost mouse or any other typically related items to these will result in your account being punished.
Any abuse of a bug found in game that has led to a player taking advantage of the situation either via XP, GP, Item obtainment or the luring or scamming of other players will not be tolerated and the level of punishment will be scaled with the scale of abuse. Including but not exclusive to a bank wipe, temp/perm ban, account deletion, jail time etc
Abuse of flaws within the game to create GP from items that should have a value of 0 or that come from PK Spawn accounts will result in your accounts, and any other associated accounts being either.
- Jailed (10k ores)
Donations will ONLY be refunded if he/she has NOT been given their items or position (forums, server) after 72 hours, otherwise, a refund is not required. Remember, items that have been obtained through our donation system that is lost at their own doing will not be refunded.
Members, upon accepting the purchase disclaimer when buying tokens from the store, agree that no refunds will be given out if the server is reset.
Scammed members who choose to gamble via self-hold (without the use of a middleman) will not be refunded. The use of a middleman (server support, moderator, administrator etc.) is highly advised in efforts to help prevent scams. Although, sufficient video-reports of members being scammed via self-hold will aid us in our efforts to prosecute scammers.
Please note that scammers will still be punished severely, reoccurring offenses will be handled at the discretion of the Novea staff team, which may ultimately lead up to an IP-Ban if sufficient video evidence has been provided.
Duel arena scams: People found to be purposefully manipulating the set-up screens will be punished if sufficient proof is given. Refunds will not be given as it is YOUR responsibility to check the second screen for the rules
Account sharing is not allowed and you will only get 1 warning the 2nd time it is caught will get that account banned.
Hacking refunds will not be handed out, those who have been victimized should have all the security features that we offer on Novea.
Glitch refunds will ONLY be refunded if the member has 100% proof and has proof of the items prior to the glitch happening.
If a developer (or someone with spawning abilities) does not see the proof to be enough, it can be declined, and a refund is not required.
Donation Transfers are not permitted freely, the purchase of a donation transfer ticket can be obtained from the Store and must be traded to a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) the cost of your ticket will not count towards the total donation amount of your account.
Punishments that are handed out towards members is one of the reasons communities maintain a balanced environment. Punishments that are evaded are not taken lightly. If you feel like you deserve another chance, then take it seriously and quickly make an appeal; don't make a scene. Users may make another account to private message a staff member, but that is it! The use of another account to evade a mute will see an increase in your mute time on all accounts
Yell and Help CC / Clan Chats
Use of the Yell command to flame-bait, flame, troll, or other abuse of the command will not be tolerated and will result is your account being muted and/or your rights to the command can be removed without being reinstated in the future.
Help CC is English based. Please refrain from using any other language, unless a staff member that can understand said language is online.
Other clan chats in use can and will be monitored for rule infringement.
Any use of excessively changing your IP-address to vote will not be allowed on Novea. We strive to maintain a respectful environment. Anything that brings an unfair advantage will not be allowed on the server. VPN voting goes against many of the Top-lists terms of service, which can result in the termination of Novea from the Top-lists.
PKP FARMING IS NOT ALLOWED.... DONT DO IT...
Flaming, Disrespect, Harassment, and Inappropriate Content
Flaming: Users engaging in hostile/insulting interactions with other users especially in the help chat or over yell; will be warned and if continued may result in a mute. We want to keep our community a clean and friendly environment.
The use of inappropriate and/or disrespectful language towards another's beliefs, race, religion, sexual orientation and/or harassing members is not tolerated. While we have an ignore system, we expect members to act accordingly towards each other, continued discussions in this manner will result in either a long mute or ban for serial offenders. This includes telling other players to kill themselves.
The use of the hard “N” word will result in a non-warnable mute, other variations of that word will be warnable and then a muteable offence
Content that is advertised and/or discussed via the yell channel, public chat, or clan chat that is deemed inappropriate per the staff member's discretion will be dealt with accordingly. This includes but not limited to; pornographic material debates about sensitive topics, drugs, etc.
Harassing the administration with wanting staff is not tolerated, members must earn the ranks by applying on the forums! Failure to cease these actions will result in a mute and/or a ban at the discretion of the staff team. This also includes members of the staff team who want a promotion; hinting, pulling favour or detailing their lack of power/commands both in-game or via discord may result in a demotion or total removal from the team. Harassing staff for unbans or unjails is also punishable
Staff impersonation will not be tolerated. This includes; having names like the staff members, (ex. "Arii"), changing the player's name on discord and pretending to be the staff in the #help chat, or telling players you have a staff account.
Wilderness Ragging in Edgeville will not be tolerated and will result in punishment this includes (maging, farcasting from a distance to where people can not attack you, constantly targeting someone because you don't like them every time they enter the wilderness.)
